At MWC 2016,LG announced the launch of its flagship for this year-LG G5.This is a huge shift of strategy for LG,this time.The previous G series phones from LG were primarily built out of plastic,which was practical choice but which often made it look cheaper as compared to its peers from the Samsung and the Apple.The G5,however,is a radical change as it features a full metallic build,giving it a premium look,which the previous G phones were somewhat lacking.

Not only the build,LG is made several interesting changes like the dual cameras at back(a 16+8 mp setup),which enables the G5 to capture a 135 degree wide view which is industry leading,ofcourse.The screen is a 5.2 inch quad hd ips panel with always on display,which lg claims to be more power efficient compared to the amoled panels.

Google sides US and bans Huawei

Google has just released a statement that they will be banning Huawei's license to use Android immediately as it must compile to US Laws. This is a hugh blow to the Chinese smartphone maker which has already become the 3rd largest smartphone maker in the world, on the back of some solid smartphones. Speaking to Reuters , a Google spokesperson confirmed that “Google Play and the security protections from Google Play Protect will continue to function on existing Huawei devices.” This means while the current smartphones should receive updates, the future is surely uncertain for Huawei. The decision might leave Huawei to choose Open source version of Android, called AOSP for its devices which is devoid of any google sevices and which usually recieves the security updates much later than Android.
